XYChess Team League:

Welcome all to the XYChess Team League! Any players interested in being team captains please contact me. Captains will be responsible for the team composition and name.

Entry fee: 40 Euros / player ,

Time Control: 90 minutes + 30 seconds / move to finish

Rules:

Teams of 3 (with optional reserve & emergency player) – total rating of the top 3 rated players 5600 (OR 5650 if a female is on the team.)

Current ratings are valid (even if there will be a rating change on 1st December)

Board 2 rating limit: 2000

Baord 3 rating limit: 1800

Urated players are considered as 1600 (unless he has a provisional , blitz/rapid or local rating)

3 points for a team win, 1 point for a team draw

Board order by rating. (unrated players to be assigned a board and stick to it throughout)

Captains decide and submit team name (subject to my approval).

9 round Swiss system (if more than 10 teams)

9 round robin if exactly 10 teams

If less than 10 teams join – it will be a round Robin with less rounds.
